This type of netting is commonly referred to as "hair" or "puppy net", and is made from special chain-like thread which makes it soft and elastic. This allows the shelves to be loose and less visible in the habitat, and allow for a high capture rate as the shelves have deeper pockets. Serial numbers are printed on the metal part of one of the green loops to clearly identify the owner. Please keep the label with serial number!

bats such as Pipistrellus sp. Nets with 20 mm x 20 mm mesh are designed to catch medium-sized bats. To be used by expert mist netters. The M series of mist nets are very fragile and hard to detect, thus very efficient in the capture of birds or bats.
